Before Hair It Is, Heather owned Queen B's Wax, where she honed her skills and developed a strong community centered on confidence and authenticity in full body waxing. Beyond her expertise behind the wax, Heather thrives on mentoring her team and managing the salon’s daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while nurturing a supportive environment. Her commitment to making a difference is a core part of her mission, both in and out of the salon.

What is your favorite part of the body to wax? Eyebrows

What made you join the beauty industry? I started in this industry because as a teenager I had severe acne that effected my self-esteem. I soon learned about facials but realized that I talked too much to perform that service.I tried waxing, fell in love with it and the rest is history.

If you could tell your younger self anything, what would it be? Stay present. Enjoy every moment. Cherish the time you have with the people in your life because tomorrow isn’t promised.
